Coach's Corner: Galloway Middle School Wrestling Co-Coach John O'Kane
O'Kane helped start the club program this year.
Last year, the Galloway Township Board of Education approved adding a wrestling club to the lineup of extracurricular activities at the middle school.
On Monday night, Feb. 11, the club held an intrasquad scrimmage at the school, and today, it will compete in a middle school wrestling tournament at Ocean City High School.
O'Kane took time to speak about his first-year program, which he hopes to develop into a full-fledged sport next year, prior to Monday's scrimmage.
