The Coast Guard rescued two skiers who became stranded near Brigantine Sunday afternoon.
Two women were stranded after their jet ski ran into shallow marshlands north of Sand Thorofare, approximately one mile west of downtown Brigantine at about 1:30 p.m. Sunday.
An MH-65 Dolphin helicopter crew from Air Station Atlantic City responded.

The helicopter crew arrived on scene, lowered a rescue swimmer and hoisted both women to the helicopter.
The crew flew the women to Air Station Atlantic City where they were picked up by a family member.
