Cops: Man Ejected From Car During Accident in Galloway
Ronald Poirier, 51, was hospitalized with serious, non-life threatening injuries.

A Leeds Point man was hospitalized with serious, non-life threatening injuries after being ejected from his car during an accident on Leeds Point and Smith Bowen roads on Thursday morning.
Ronald Poirier, 51, was thrown from his 2006 Jeep after it rolled over twice following a collision with a 2002 Hyundai driven by Emilie Burns, 78, of Leeds Point.
Burns was attempting a left turn onto Smith Bowen around 8:51 a.m., prior to the accident, Galloway Township Police said Thursday afternoon.

Poirier was treated on scene by Atlanticare Medics and Galloway Township EMS.
He was then transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center City Division for serious non-life threatening injuries.

No other injuries were reported.
The section of road was closed for approximately an hour while the scene was investigated and vehicles and debris were removed.
The accident is being investigated Ptl. Steve Garrison.
