Dedication Ceremony For New Jersey State Trooper Frankie Williams
Rutgers University and Atlantic Cape Community College honor NJ State Trooper who died in the line of duty in December 2016.
Rutgers University and Atlantic Cape Community College honored New Jersey State Trooper Frankie Williams who died in the line of duty on December 5, 2016. Williams was a graduate of both Rutgers and Atlantic Cape in Mays Landing.
The street connecting Atlantic Cape Community College to the Rutgers Building was renamed Frankie Williams Way in his honor. A plaque was also dedicated to him in front of the Rutgers Building. The ceremony took place on September 15, 2017.
Williams was working towards his master's degree from Rutgers University-Camden when his patrol car was struck on Route 55 in Millville. He was posthumously awarded his master's degree at the Rutgers University-Camden Commencement Ceremony this past May.
