Deer Breaks Into Galloway Home, Havoc Ensues
Police were safely able to escort the deer from the home following the incident on Saturday afternoon.
A deer caused havoc in a Galloway Township home this weekend.
Galloway Police received a call from a resident on Northampton Road on Saturday afternoon around 3:30 p.m.
The resident reported that while she was putting her sweet potatoes in the oven, a deer burst through the front door and ran into her house.

The caller said she followed the deer into the rear of the house and was able to lock it in her master bathroom before calling police.
Upon arrival, police discovered the glass located on the front storm door was completely shattered.

The frame on the main door was damaged indicating that the deer was strong enough to run through two doors and enter the residence.
The deer then navigated its way to the rear of the residence and proceeded to ransack the master bathroom causing a significant amount of cosmetic damage. After a brief standoff, police were able to safely escort the deer from the residence where it was immediately released back into the wild.
