This local winery in NJ has more than 15 award-winning wines. You’ll recognize the bottle with its proud display of Cape May’s lighthouse on the label. Cape May Winery has grown over the past 20 years, producing some of the state’s most distinguished wines. On over 70 acres, the vineyard produces more than16 varieties of grapes. If you’re looking for things to do in Cape May County, this is a terrific option, as you can experience three tasting rooms, take in breathtaking views of the vineyard on the winery’s charming deck or go on a winery tour, where you can see how the local wine is made from the grapes to the bottle.
Hawk Haven Vineyard & Winery
Located on a 100 acre farm in Cape May County between the Delaware Bay and Atlantic Ocean, Hawk Haven is one of the best wineries in South Jersey. Since 2008, this family-owned vineyard and winery has been producing 12 varieties of wine available for a try in their custom tasting room. In addition to daily tours and tastings, Hawk Haven also holds events like Saturdays on the Crushpad, where you can enjoy wine, live music and homemade crepes.
Natali Vineyard
One of many people’s favorite wineries in Cape May County is Natali Vineyard. Located in the Cape May Court House, this family-owned winery offers a wide variety of fruit wines and an experience that makes you feel as though you’re walking amid the grapevines on a hillside in Tuscany.
