Early Morning Home Invasion Results in Assaults in Absecon
Two people were assaulted during a home invasion at an Oyster Bay Road apartment around 3 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Two people were assaulted in their home during an early morning home invasion Tuesday, Absecon Police announced.
Around 3 a.m., two men allegedly forced their way into an Oyster Bay Road apartment. One suspect assaulted the male resident, and the other suspect assaulted the female while she was descending the stairs. He threatened to kill both residents if they called police.
The first suspect is described as a heavyset black male wearing a tan shirt.

The second suspect is described as a younger, thin black male wearing an orange shirt.
It was initially reported that they had a weapon. Later, it was learned no weapon was shown, but the threat of a weapon was mentioned.

Nothing was stolen from the apartment and immediate details were limited.
Absecon and Pleasantville police departments conducted a search for the suspects. Pleasantville employed two K-9 units in the search.
The K-9 track yielded negative results. All vehicles leaving the apartment complex were stopped and the occupants were identified.
