The Atlantic City Aquarium continues its popular preschool Story Time on Tuesdays in February with a new selection of fishy tales and a special story for Valentine’s Day.
Story Time on Tuesdays is an educational event that introduces preschoolers and their parents to more than just books. The activities begin at 11 a.m. with a story.
• Tuesday, February 7: Billy Bluefish – A Tale of Big Blue – Billy learns that it doesn’t pay to be a bully!

• Tuesday, February 14: If You’ll Be My Valentine – Told entirely in rhyme, this story celebrates Valentine’s Day through the eyes of a young boy.
• Tuesday, February 21: Great Sharky Shark, A Tale of a Big Hunter – Learn fascinating facts about sharks and the impact humans have on sea life.

• Tuesday, February 28: Sammy Shrimp, A Tale Of A Little Shrimp – This story of a little shrimp and his big sister also teaches facts about shrimp.
Story time is followed by a Dive Show on February 7 and 21, and an Exotic Animal Show on February 14 and 28, 2012.
The Exotic Animal Show features the largest species of scorpion in the world and the softest furred mammal in the world. Aquarium handlers discuss their native habitats, their suitability as pets, natural defenses and predatory instincts other interesting facts.
The Live Diver Feeding Show allows visitors to watch, and interact with, a diver in scuba gear as he or she hand feeds the stingrays and sharks inside the 25,000-gallon tank.
At 12 noon and 3 p.m., it’s feeding time for the juvenile cow nose rays, bat rays, southern rays and shovel nose sharks. Visitors can hand feed these species by purchasing bags of food. Bags of food are $2 (or $1 for members).
The Atlantic City Aquarium is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $8 for adults, $6 for seniors and $5 for children ages 4-12. Children three and under are free. Located in Atlantic City's Historic Gardner's Basin, the Atlantic City Aquarium offers a fun and educational look into more than 100 varieties of fish and marine animals.
