Antonin Dvorak....Serenade for Strings

January has traditionally been Bay-Atlantic Symphony's popular program for chamber ensemble. In this gorgeous program for plentiful strings, our largest chamber ensemble to date will perform Dvorak's by turns folksy and elegant Serenade for Strings. Also featured will be Mendelssohn's early masterpiece, Sinfonia no. 7, filled with counterpoint, soaring melodic lines, and youthful spirit. Bay-Atlantic Symphony will also perform New Jersey composer George Walker's most celebrated work, Lyric for Strings, and Edward Elgar's Serenade.
