Free Film Screening, Irena Sendler: In the Name of Their Mothers

The film, Irena Sendler: In the Name of Their Mothers, is the true story of young Polish women who saved over 2,500 Jewish children from the Warsaw Ghetto. Righteous gentiles like Irena Sendler changed the history of the Holocaust through the rescue of would-be Jewish victims in Europe during World War II.

The introduction to the film and the question and answer session after the film will be presented by Stanlee Stahl. Ms. Stahl is the Director of the Jewish Foundation for the Righteous. The Jewish Foundation for the Righteous provides financial support to over 850 non-Jews throughout the world who rescued Jews during the Holocaust.

Admission is free, open to the public and tickets are not needed. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. For New Jersey educators, 2.0 Professional Development Hours (PDH) are available.
