Master decoy carver Fred Reitmeyer will teach how to carve a "Black Bellied Plover" shorebird and introduce the techniques, tools & secrets of this traditional New Jersey coastal art form. The 3-session workshop will cover carving techniques & different types of bird's eyes. The knives used for particular birds will be discussed and implemented. Fee covers cost of wood & sandpaper.
