A Dolce Resort’s inaugural Holiday Dinner and Gingerbread House Showcase will include; a festive night of musical entertainment, a seasonal holiday buffet, the Gingerbread Showcase and the announcement of the winning sponsored baker and gingerbread house. The holiday dinner buffet is priced at: $28.95 per person; $14.95 for children ages 6 to 12 and kids ages 5 and under are free; the price does not include tax or gratuity. Reservations are encouraged and can be made by calling 609.652.1800.The Gingerbread Showcase is a competition featuring the area’s best and most creative bakers. Event bakers are sponsored by: Seaview-A Dolce Resort, Trump Taj Mahal, Gourmet Bakery, Chartwells, Tropicana Casino and Resort, Kramer Beverage, Caesars Atlantic City Casino Hotel, Smithville Inn, The Bake Works, and more. Local dignitaries and media personalities will judge and select the most extraordinary gingerbread house and the winning baker will receive a plaque of acknowledgment, appreciation and of course bragging rights. Guests can win and take home their favorite house(s) from the event’s Chinese Auction. Proceeds from the sponsorships and auction benefit the Community FoodBank of New Jersey/Southern Branch.
