Falmouth Court Home Suffers Heavy Damage During Early Morning Fire in Galloway

A home on Falmouth Court sustained heavy damage during an early morning fire on Friday, Galloway Township Police said. All of the residents were evacuated unharmed during the fire, which was reported at 3:16 a.m.

A neighboring home was also evacuated until the responding fire companies could bring the fire under control.

The Galloway Township Police Department, the Oceanville, Bayview and Pomona fire companies as well as the Galloway Township and Atlanticare Ambulance squads all responded to the scene. The South Jersey Gas Company, Atlantic City Electric and The American Water Company also responded to the scene to assist.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
