EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, NJ — A man left his 3-year-old child in a vehicle for about three hours amid the weekend heat, police said. Brandon Morgan left the child in there Friday night while he was at Chickie's & Pete's, a sports bar, police said.

Police arrived at about 1:30 a.m. Bystanders already took the toddler out of the vehicle by then, police said. It was about 85 degrees outside, and the vehicle wasn't running, according to authorities.

The child was in good health. Authorities turned the toddler over to the mother.
