Galloway Daycare Worker Charged After Abuse Investigation: Police

Jamie L. Price, an employee at a Galloway daycare, was charged with two counts of assault and child endangerment, police said.

GALLOWAY, NJ — A daycare worker was charged with two counts of assault and endangering the welfare of a child following abuse allegations at a Galloway daycare, police said.

Jamie L. Price, a 36-year-old from Egg Harbor Township, voluntarily surrendered and was arrested on July 18 after an investigation into alleged abuse at Children Academy, Galloway police said.

It was reported in April that the daycare center was under investigation after a 2-year-old boy's face was bruised while in their care, according to BreakingAC.

The daycare's owners told New Jersey 101.5 that Price was "removed" from Children Academy.

Police thanked the Division of Child Protection and Permanency for their assistance and also acknowledged and thanked the owners and staff of Children’s Academy for their cooperation while they investigated the incident.
