Galloway Gets Its Very Own Farmer's Market!

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — Galloway Township is getting its very own farmer’s market! Go Green Galloway along with the Absecon Green Team is sponsoring the Galloway Green Market to be held on Sundays, 10am-1pm, from August 13^th thru October 15^th to take advantage of peak summer and fall harvest. The Market will take place at the Galloway Municipal Complex, 300 E Jimmie Leeds Rd, Galloway. In addition to fresh produce, there will be baked goods, fresh food, flowers, kid’s crafts, yoga, and much more.

Mary Wozniak, event co-chair, states “We have a terrific line-up of vendors coming with diverse offerings. There will definitely something for everyone!”

Vendors include B&B Farm, Stockton University Organic Farm, Honey & Sweets Farm Stand, Kisbee’s Kitchen, Busy Bees Honey, Sprout & Thicket Flower Farm, Cannoli World, Roots Craft Coffee, Luscious & Sweet Bakery, Greens & Grains, and Angel in the Pines natural products.

Grow Yoga of Galloway will be holding yoga demonstrations during market hours. Garden State Academy will have a “Kid’s Garden Craft Area” to keep the little ones busy. Entertainment will be provided by local band “Either Way” on our opening day.

“In the spirit of making this a true community event, there will be a “Get a little …give a little” donation table where attendees can purchase a little extra produce at the market to give to those in need in our township” stated co-chair Lee Campbell. Those items will be distributed by a local food pantry.
