Galloway Man Charged in Armed Robbery

A 32-year-old Galloway man has been charged with the armed robbery of a man and a woman on Collins Road near Greenwich Drive on Nov. 17.

Jovani Rodriguez was charged with robbery, possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and possession of a weapon by a prohibited person, Galloway Police said Tuesday morning.

Jovani allegedly used a handgun in the robbery.

He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $250,000 full cash bail.

The investigation was lead by Detective Casey of the Galloway Township Detective Bureau and the Atlantic County Prosecutors Office Intelligence Unit.
