Galloway Man Charged With Arson in Forest Fire on Second Avenue

The fire burned down about a quarter of an acre of the woods.

An 18-year-old Galloway man has been charged with aggravated arson for allegedly causing a fire that burned down about a quarter of an acre of woods near a cell phone tower and several motels on Second Avenue just south of Route 30 on March 29.

Bail for Timothy Clavijo was set at $75,000, Galloway Police said Tuesday morning. He is being held at the Atlantic County Justice Facility.
