Galloway Man Charged With Several Burglaries: Police
William Ireland, 49, was arrested following a pair of burglaries on Feb. 19.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — A 49-year-old Galloway Township man has been charged in a pair of home burglaries that took place on Feb. 19, police said on Monday.
Additionally, William Ireland, was charged with another previously committed burglary, theft of a vehicle, and one burglary that occurred in Absecon.
Galloway Township Police were alerted to a possible burglary on Ridgewood Avenue at about 12:46 p.m. on Feb. 19.

Patrols arrived and confirmed the house had been burglarized, but the suspect had fled by the time they arrived.
A short time later, K-9 Sgt. Scott Winneberger located Ireland in the area, on 10th Avenue, where another burglary was eventually discovered.

Police say Ireland was found to be in possession of stolen items from the burglarized residence.
He was processed and transported to the Atlantic County Jail on multiple burglary, theft, and criminal mischief offenses.
