Galloway Man Shot to Death in Pleasantville

A 21-year-old Galloway man was shot and killed in Pleasantville Thursday night, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.

The Pleasantville Police Department responded to the 100 block of Ridgewood Avenue after receiving 9-1-1 call at 8:29 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 11.

Upon arrival, police found Bilal Salaam, 21, of the 100 block of Sunrise Bay in Galloway Township as the apparent victim of a shooting.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit responded to the scene.

Next-of-kin have been notified. An autopsy is pending.
