Galloway Man Stole, Pawned Pricey Tools From Garage: Police

The man forced entry into a Galloway garage, police said.

A Galloway man stole expensive tools and two leaf blowers after forcing entry into a garage Wednesday, police said. Michael R. Williams entered the locked garage and took about $2,000 worth of Snap-on tools and two leaf blowers valued at approximately $300, according to authorities.

Williams, 30, confessed to burglary in a statement to detectives after his arrest, the Galloway Township Police Department said. The burglary took place in a detached garage on S. Genoa Ave., the GTPD said.

The leaf blowers were discovered the next day after a neighbor found them in the woods near the property, according to the GTPD. The tools were recovered during the investigation after officials discovered Williams pawned them, police said.
