Galloway Middle School Students Earn Honors at Jersey Shore Science Fairs
The fairs were held March 16 and April 3.
Galloway Township Middle School Science Club students earned honors at the Jersey Shore Science Fairs, representatives from the middle school said on Friday, April 4.
The following students earned Honorable Mention honors at the Jersey Shore Science Fair at the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey on March 16:
Mitali Patel in Behavioral & Social Sciences with her project Facial Expressions: What Do They Say?;

Karan Khullar in Medicine & Health for his project Mood: We Can Smell It; and
Samantha Brandt, Shannon Houser, Nidhi Patel with their team project: Prejudice Over the Phone.

The following students placed at the Jersey Shore Science Fair, and were invited to compete in the Delaware Valley Science Fair, on April 3:
Esteban Delgado placed third in Microbiology for his project Grocery Bug;
Caitlyn Fee placed 2nd in Biochemistry with her project Disappearing Act; and
Nathan Zimmerman, a 6th grade student at Roland Rogers, won 1st place with his Zoology project called Effects of Road De-Icer on Earthworm Growth.
There were over 1,007 participants in the Delaware Valley Science Fair. Caitlyn Fee and Nathan Zimmerman both won Honorable Mention in their categories.
