Galloway Police: Dump Truck Slips on Ice, Dumps Material all Over Jimmie Leeds Road
The driver was treated for minor injuries and charged with careless driving.

A 67-year-old Atco man was treated for minor injuries after the dump truck he was driving slipped on ice and overturned on Jimmie Leeds Road Monday morning, according to Galloway Township Police.

Neal Johnson was charged with careless driving after his 2004 Mac Truck overturned around 6:54 a.m., spilling its load of road salt and dirt, as well as other hazardous material, onto the road.
He was traveling east on Jimmie Leeds Road when his truck slid on ice and he lost control.

The road remained closed while the truck and hazardous material were removed from the roadway.
Assisting agencies included: Galloway Township Ambulance Squad, AtlantiCare Medics, Pomona Volunteer Fire Company, Atlantic County Road Department, Atlantic County HAZMAT Team and Battelini Towing Service.
