Galloway Police Foil Burglary in Process
Jesse Patten was charged with burglary after police caught him allegedly stealing copper piping from a home.
A 34-year-old Galloway man has been charged with burglary after police arrested him as he allegedly attempted to steal copper piping from a home on Route 30 on Wednesday, Galloway Township Police said.
Jesse Patten was charged with burglary, theft, possession of burglary tools, possession of a hypodermic needle, and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was also found to have an outstanding warrant from Galloway Township court.
Police responded to the home on the 900 block of the White Horse Pike at 4:09 p.m. after receiving reports of a suspicious person in the area. Once they discovered him allegedly attempting to take copper piping from the home, they surrounded the home and took him into custody.
He was processed and released on summons for his charges.
