Galloway Republicans Announce Ticket for 2015 Elections

Deputy Mayor Tony Coppola will be joined by Rich Clute and Tony DiPietro.

The Galloway Township Republican League has nominated incumbent Deputy Mayor Tony Coppola Jr, Rich Clute and Tony DiPietro as their candidates to run for Council.

Coppola is serving his second term on council. Coppola’s platform has been economic development with an emphasis on balancing growth with environmental awareness.

He is a founding member of the Galloway Township Business Association, serves on the Galloway Township Veterans Advisory Board, Planning Board and is Chairman of the Economic Development Committee.

He is also involved with the Boys and Girls Club of Atlantic City and the Atlantic City Chapter of UNICO.

As chairman of the Galloway Township Municipal Budget Committee, Coppola was instrumental in implementing a “long term” fiscal plan for the Township that he calls “responsible to the taxpayer and positioned the Township for fiscal solvency.”

Coppola is married to his wife Deanna and has two sons, Nicholas and Christian.

Clute is a lifelong resident of the Township. He is an ironworker and member of Local 350. He is a union trustee and serves on the Central Labor Board.

He is also a welding instructor at the Atlantic County Vocational Technical School.

Clute has been a member of the Oceanville Volunteer Fire Co since 1996 and serves on the Galloway Zoning Board.

DiPietro has been a resident of Galloway for 11 years. He holds a master’s degree from Stockton University. He is a teacher of finance and computer science at Egg Harbor Township High School and an adjunct professor at Camden County College.

DePietro serves on various non-profit organizations and sits on the Township Zoning Board.

He is married to his wife Morgan and has a daughter, Ava.
