Man Broke Into Galloway Tattoo Shop, Stole Equipment: Police
Vito C. Anderson, of Pleasantville, stole a tattoo gun and more from Gold Leaf Tattoo in Galloway, according to police.
GALLOWAY, NJ — An Atlantic County man was charged in an investigation into stolen equipment from a Galloway tattoo shop.
On March 25, a burglary was reported at Gold Leaf Tattoo (241 W. White Horse Pike), Galloway police said. Someone had broken into the shop and taken several pieces of tattoo equipment, according to police.
The next day, Gold Leaf Tattoo workers came to the police station with additional information related to the burglary, police said. With this, the workers and detectives were able to identify Vito C. Anderson, 38, as the suspect, police said.

Anderson, a Pleasantville resident temporarily living in Atlantic City, was found in possession of a tattoo gun when police took him into custody, according to police.
A subsequent search of his temporary residence led to the recovery of additional items stolen from Gold Leaf Tattoo, police said.

“This is another example of police and the public working together to fight crime in our community,” Chief Richard Barber said. “Continuing to build trust and communication with our business owners remains a top priority for our Police Department.”
Anderson was charged with numerous offenses related to the burglary. He was taken to the Atlantic County Justice Facility on the charges as well as several outstanding warrants, police said.
The Galloway Township Police Department thanked the Gold Leaf Tattoo staff for their communication and assistance with the investigation. “ Working together, we can continue to make Galloway Township a safe community,” police said.
