Man Charged With DWI After Hitting a Tree in Galloway
Robert Price was charged with DWI and other motor vehicle violations.

An Egg Harbor Township man has been charged with driving while intoxicated following a one-car accident in which he collided with a tree on Route 9 and Somerstown Lane Wednesday afternoon, according to Galloway Township Police.
Robert Price, 32, was charged with DWI and multiple other motor vehicle violations.
Police responded to the area of Route 9 and Somerstown Lane around 1:38 p.m. for a report of a car that crashed into a tree. Police found Price seated in his car and disoriented.

He was initially treated on the scene by the Galloway Township Ambulance Squad before being transported to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center for further treatment.
Police say the initial investigation shows Price was traveling south on Route 9 in his 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt when he allegedly crossed the center line into oncoming traffic. He allegedly drove through several bushes before hitting a tree and coming to a rest.

Traffic was delayed for about 45 minutes while the car was removed from the road.
Following his treatment and the filing of charges, he was released pending a future court date.
