Man Charged With Murder In Atlantic City Casino Stabbing: Prosecutor
A Philadelphia man is accused of fatally stabbing a man whose body was found in an Atlantic City hotel room, officials said.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ β A Philadelphia man has been charged with murder in connection with the stabbing death of an Egg Harbor Township man at Ocean Casino Resort, officials said.
Andrew James Osborne, 34, was also charged with possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose as a result of an investigation into the death, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said. He was taken into custody in Philadelphia and at the time of the news release, was in Pennsylvania awaiting extradition, officials said.
On Sept. 23, at about 1:30 p.m., Atlantic City police responded to a hotel room at Ocean Casino Resort for the report of an unresponsive man, officials said.

The man, Brian Wilkinson, 47, was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said.
An autopsy by the Southern Regional Medical Examiner's Office determined the cause of death was stab wounds and the manner of death was homicide, officials said.

The ACPO Major Crimes Unit, Atlantic City police and Philadelphia police are actively investigating.
