Man Charged in Rio Grande Bank Robbery

Clifford Ginyard was charged with first degree robbery following his arrest in Atlantic City.

A man has been charged in connection with the robbery of a Bank of America in Rio Grande that took place over the weekend, Middle Township Police announced on Monday.

Clifford Ginyard was charged with first degree robbery following his arrest in Atlantic City.

Ginyard allegedly entered the bank around 12:59 p.m. on Saturday and slipped the teller a note demanding money. He left with an undisclosed amount of money.

Ginyard was apprehended by the Middle Township Major Crime Unit, along with the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office, and NJ Transit Police.

Ginyard was held in Cape May County Correctional Center on $100,000 bail.
