Man Injured After His Car Struck A Tree In Galloway Township: Police

Adam Brenner was driving on Cologne Avenue when his car crossed the center line, left the road and struck a tree on Tuesday.

Galloway Township, NJ -- A Mays Landing man was injured after his car crashed into a tree in Galloway Township Tuesday afternoon, police said.

Adam Brenner, 30, was driving a blue 2003 Ford Ranger north on Cologne Avenue just north of Duerer Street at about 3:07 p.m. when he crossed over the center lane and onto the southbound shoulder of Cologne Avenue, police said.

His car then left the road and struck a tree, overturning onto its driver side.
Brenner was extricated from the car by the Pomona Fire Department and transported to Atlantic Regional Medical Center, City Division, via helicopter for his injuries.

Galloway Township Ambulance Squad, AtlantiCare Paramedics and Germania Fire Department also responded to the scene.

Summonses are pending investigation by the Galloway Township Traffic Safety Unit.
