Man Killed After Being Hit By NJ Transit Bus In Galloway: Police
The man was hit while crossing Route 30 just before 11 p.m. Saturday night.

Galloway Township, NJ -- A 59-year-old man is dead after he was hit by a NJ Transit Bus at Route 30 and Jimmie Leeds Road Saturday night, Galloway Township Police said.
The man was crossing the highway when he was hit by the bus, which was travelling east on Route 30 at about 10:50 p.m.. The man, who was not identified pending the notification of next-of-kin, was pronounced dead on the scene.
No one on the bus was injured.

The eastbound outside lane was closed for about two hours while the scene was investigated.
Anyone who has information or who may have witnessed the accident is asked to contact Officer Steve Garrison of the GTPD Fatal Accident Unit.
