Service Resumes on NJ Transit Atlantic City Rail
The rail was disabled Thursday morning.

Service has resumed on the Atlantic City Rail Line of NJ Transit following several delays Thursday morning, NJ Transit officials said.
At about 9:10 a.m., a train with about 80 passengers on board heading to Philadelphia became disabled north of Absecon Station.
It regained power and began heading back toward Atlantic City when it became disabled again around 10 a.m. in Absecon.

At 10:40 a.m., a second train arrived and passengers from the disabled train were transported to the new arrival due to a lack of air conditioning. The two trains coupled up and began to move again.
However, the two trains became disabled again near Delilah Street south of Absecon around noon. Eventually, the trains were able to move again, and arrived in Atlantic City around 12:44 p.m.

NJ Transit is looking into the delay, a spokesperson said Thursday morning.
