Pa. Man Charged With 2014 Murder Of EHT Woman: ACPO
Joyce Vanderhoff was found on the side of the road after she was strangled, the prosecutor said.

EGG HARBOR TOWNSHIP, N.J. β A man was charged with murder in the 2014 strangulation death of an Egg Harbor Township woman, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office announced Monday. Timothy P. Wright, of Chambersburg, Pa., was charged with the killing of Joyce Vanderhoff, 25, the ACPO said.
The Chambersburg Police Department arrested Wright on Friday afternoon. Wright lived in Mays Landing at the time of Vanderhoff's killing.
Vanderhoff was found dead on the side of the road in Hamilton Township on Feb. 14, 2014, the ACPO said. A motorist spotted her body on the side of County Road 5559-Weymouth Road near mile marker 24, officials said.

Her death was ruled a homicide, and an autopsy determined she died by strangulation, the ACPO said.
"This arrest, more than five years since the incident, should continue to serve as a message that the Atlantic County Prosecutorβs Office will never stop in its pursuit of justice for victims and their families,β Prosecutor Damon Tyner said.

Police in Chambersburg, a South Central Pennsylvania borough, charged Wright with being a fugitive from justice, officials said.
