ABSECON, NJ — A person was shot by police on Tuesday Morning in Absecon, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
The police officer involved shooting happened at the Dollar General store on the 700 block of New Road in Absecon, the Atlantic County Prosecutor's Office said.
There are no preliminary details to report, the prosecutor said, including suspect information or related injuries.

However, a report by BreakingAC said one officer was injured but not shot.

A man was taken from the scene in an ambulance, the report said.
Nearby Holy Spirit High School in Absecon was put in lockdown Tuesday morning, according to BreakingAC.
