Pocket Full of Posies Named Teleflora's "Best of the Bunch"

Florist and Gifts isn’t just the best place to get flowers in Galloway, as by Galloway Patch readers; it’s been recognized by the country’s leading flower wire delivery service, Teleflora, as the “Best of the Bunch.”

Pocket Full of Posies was voted the grand prize winner of the “Best of the Bunch” contest, in which Teleflora challenged its member florists across the country to submit photos of their best wedding work, the flower shop said Friday morning, June 1.

Submissions included illustrations of bouquets, boutonnieres, centerpieces and more. The Knot editors then narrowed the field from hundreds of submissions down to 12, and the grand prize winner was determined by a vote of real brides on TheKnot.com.

“After seeing all the other entries from shops in New York, Los Angeles and all over the country, we were thrilled to have been selected as one of the top 12 finalists.  We still can’t believe we won,” Pocket Full of Posies owners Beth Ann Rabush-Perone and Bryan Perone, said in a statement.  “We do a lot of weddings and the winning photo is a fabulous example, illustrating our quality work. Everything about that bouquet was perfect and we’re happy voters agreed.”

Pocket Full of Posies won $3,000 worth of prizes, including a free membership in Teleflora’s bridal program with The Knot. This establishes a local profile for Pocket Full of Posies on TheKnot.com. It also won a new sign for the shop and a feature in the well-known floral industry publication, Flowers&.

Pocket Full of Posies has been located in Smithville just off Route 9 for three years. In addition to flowers, the shop offers custom gifts baskets.
