Police Search For Man Who Fled Traffic Stop In Galloway

Police attempted to stop the man Monday afternoon, but he ran into the woods.

Galloway Township, NJ -- Galloway Township Police are searching for a man who ran from a traffic stop Monday afternoon.

The suspect was described as a black man with shoulder length dreadlocks, about 30 years old, 6’0,” with a medium build. He was wearing blue denim jeans and a gray hooded sweatshirt.

Police attempted to stop him while he was driving a gold 2001 Nissan Sentra in the area of the White Horse Pike and Berlin Avenue around 3:35 p.m.

He pulled into the lot for Integrity Transportation before jumping out of the car and running into the woods, police said.

K-9 responded and tracked into the woods north of Route 30 between Berlin and Bremen avenues, but police couldn’t find the man. The car was impounded for further investigation.
