Pop-Up Picnic Coming To AC, But Location A Mystery
The luxury picnic is about spending a magical evening with friends in a secret location.
ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — For the first time, a luxury pop-up picnic is coming to Atlantic City this summer. But you won't know exactly where it is until it's time to eat.
Le Diner en Blanc is a worldwide event that began in Paris and has spread to six continents, according to its website. Now, it's coming to New Jersey in June.
The exact date will be announced closer to June, according to a report by NJ.com. And of course, the exact location won't be known until the day of, when guests arrive together at their secret location and set up their picnic.

According to the Le Diner en Blanc website, all guests must be dressed head-to-toe in white. No ivory or off-white, and the outfits must be elegant. Guests must also bring a square folding-table and two white chairs; a white picnic basket and/or bag including a gourmet meal for two, a white tablecloth and cloth-napkins, cutlery, dishware, and glassware and a garbage bag.
Their sole purpose, according to their website, is to create a magical evening.

The waiting list opened up on Monday. Registration occurs in three phases, according to NJ.com.
Phase one is for friends and members from previous years of the event, including the first 500 registrants. Phase two is invitations from people who registered in phase one. Then, phase three is first come, first serve - those on the waiting list.
Ticket price is not finalized, but according to NJ.com, it will be about $55 per person, and you must register as a table for two.
