Port Republic Woman Charged in Hit-And-Run That Seriously Injured Galloway Man
Barbara Walk was charged this week following a seven-month investigation.

A 29-year-old Port Republic was charged in connection with a hit-and-run accident that resulted in serious bodily harm for a Galloway man back in February, police said on Friday.
Barbara Walk was charged with leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident with serious bodily injury, leaving the scene of an accident, failure to report an accident and failure to maintain a single lane.
The accident took place on Feb. 7, when a 31-year-old Galloway man was struck and seriously injured while walking on South New York Road (Rt. 9) and Ocean Ave at around 5:20 pm.

Walk was charged on Wednesday, following a seven-month investigation conducted by Galloway Township Detective Baerman, Sgt. Bollinger and Officer Buckley.
Walk was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility on $20,000 bail.
