Rally To Resist White Supremacy In Galloway Township Wednesday Night

There will be a candlelight vigil and speak-out portion at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation Center on Pomona Road.

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, NJ — The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of South Jersey is inviting the community to a rally in the aftermath of the weekend violence in Charlottesville, Virginia. The vigil takes place on Wednesday night, Aug. 16, 6:30 p.m. at the UU Center, 75 South Pomona Road in Galloway.

The “Rally to Resist White Supremacy” is being held “in solidarity of those resisting white supremacist and neo-Nazi hate groups in #Charlottesville,” according to the event’s Facebook page. There will be a candlelight vigil and a speak-out portion of the event.People and groups interested in working for racial justice are welcome.
