Reproductive Rights Rally In Atlantic City This Weekend

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Protestors will gather in support of abortion rights in Atlantic City on May 14.

The "Bans Off Our Bodies" rally is volunteer organized for Women's March. On Saturday, people will gather around the nation to protest the leaked Supreme Court draft opinion on overturning Roe v. Wade.

"Roe has always been the floor, not the ceiling," the event description reads. "Many Black, Indigenous, Latinx, and other people of color experience barriers to accessing abortions. The people in your community and across the country deserve the power and freedom to make their own personal reproductive health care decisions."

The rally will be held at The Boardwalk at Stockton University, 3711 Atlantic Ave. in Atlantic City. It will run from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

"We have to act NOW, all across the country," the organizers said in the event description. "Together we will send a strong message that we're not backing down. Supporting abortion access must be protected and defended."
