ABSECON, NJ — For the second time this week, South Shore Road in Absecon is flooding, police said Friday morning. Drivers are advised to avoid South Shore Road due to flooding issues, the Absecon Police Department said in an alert Friday morning. New Road is being recommended for traveling north.
Earlier this week, the same road was closed for flooding when the area felt the effects of Hurricane Jose. No reason was given for Friday morning's flooding.
