Rutgers University Offers Degree in Health Sciences

Rutgers University in Mays Landing is offering a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences starting in the Fall 2018 Semester.

Rutgers University in Mays Landing will offer a bachelor's degree in Health Sciences starting the Fall 2018 Semester. The Health Sciences major provides students with a thorough grounding in subjects that are fundamental to health-related professions. This interdisciplinary major includes instruction in the basic science courses, coupled with additional courses, such as Health Psychology, to prepare students to meet the needs of a modern health delivery system. The Health Sciences major consists of a common track focusing on career preparation (i.e., professions that require a B.A. degree) as well as going on for training in health related graduate degrees (e.g., in physical therapy or occupational therapy).

Rutgers also offers the following programs through its location in Mays Landing on the Atlantic Cape Community College Campus: Business Administration, Criminal Justice, Health Administration, Labor Studies & Employment Relations, Liberal Studies, Political Science, Psychology, Public Health, RN - BS Nursing and Social Work. The Rutgers University Off Campus undergraduate degree completion program provides students who have earned an Associate Degree from an accredited community college, or approximately 60 or more credits, the
