School Gets Supply Donation From Atlantic Co. American Legion

Absecon students are prepared for the new school year, thanks to a generous donation from the American Legion Auxiliary Unit 28.

ABSECON, NJ — Absecon students are ready for the new school year, thanks to donations of books and supplies from the local American Legion Auxiliary.

“We are so thankful for the thoughtful donation from our local American Legion Auxiliary Unit 28,” said Absecon Schools Supervisor of Curriculum Jessica Schwartzer. “It's always a benefit to our students when the community can work together to help those in need.”

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 28 Treasurer Mary Ann Philippi and Sergeant at Arms Dotty Hassall delivered the donation to the school on Sept. 1.
