Second Annual Taste of Galloway Coming in June

This year's event takes place June 27.

Following last year's successful "Taste of Galloway" event, the Galloway Township Business Association (GTBA) is bringing the event back to Historic Smithville and the Village Greene this June.

This year's event takes place on Thursday, June 27, from 5 p.m.-8 p.m., the GTBA announced on Wednesday, April 10. Last year's event generated more than $4,000 for the Hope Chest at Beacon Church. No beneficiary for this year's event has been named at this time.

The event offers residents from Galloway Township and the surrounding areas the opportunity to sample food from restaurants in the area. Last year's event allowed other individuals and organizations the chance to put themselves in the public eye. Last year, the Noyes Museum of Art Stockton College and Flopsie the Clown were both among those who had tables at the event.
