Sinkhole Temporarily Closes Walking Path At Galloway Park

GALLOWAY, NJ — A walking path at a Galloway park will be closing for repairs.

Officials announced on Feb. 27 that the path at Patriot Lake would be closed starting Wednesday morning until further notice.

A sinkhole on the path is the cause for closure. It was caused by a failed stormwater pipe, according to township officials.

"We will let you know as soon as the area is reopened for your enjoyment," officials said.
