SNAP (Food Stamp) Outreach in Atlantic County

FREE pre-screening and application assistance available from the Community FoodBank of NJ

The SNAP Outreach team from the Community FoodBank of New Jersey/Southern Branch will visit various Atlantic County sites to help low-income families see if they may qualify for food stamps. They will help those people likely to be eligible for food stamp benefits to fill out an online application. Support in English and Spanish will be available on:

  • Dec. 16, 23 & 30: Family Success Center, 3050 Spruce Ave, Egg Harbor Twp. from 9am to 3pm
  • Dec. 17: Saint Vincent de Paul, 266 French St, Hammonton from 2pm to 4pm
  • Dec. 28 & 29: New Day Family Success Center, 624 New York Rd, Galloway from 9am to 12pm

The Outreach team provides free SNAP eligibility pre-screenings at emergency food pantries, senior centers, soup kitchens, churches and other community sites serving low-income families in 18 New Jersey counties. The Community FoodBank of NJ also distributes 43 million pounds of food a year to more than 1,400 programs which feed almost 1 million hungry New Jersey residents.
