SNAP (Food Stamp) Outreach at Family Success Centers

The SNAP Outreach team from the Community FoodBank of NJ will visit several Family Success Center locations in the next few weeks to help low-income families see if they may qualify for food stamps. They will help those people likely to be eligible fill out an online application. Support in English and Spanish will be available on:

• Sept. 16, 23, & 30:  Family Success Center, 3050 Spruce Ave, Egg Harbor Twp. from 9am to 3pm
• Sept. 28 & 29: New Day Family Success Center, 624 New York Rd, Galloway from 9am to noon

The Outreach team provides free SNAP eligibility pre-screenings at emergency food pantries, senior centers, soup kitchens, churches, and other community sites serving low-income families in 18 New Jersey counties. The Community FoodBank of NJ also distributes 43 million pounds of food a year to more than 1,400 programs which feed almost 1 million New Jersey residents.
