South Jersey Animal Sanctuary To Appear On 'Kelly Clarkson Show'

MAYS LANDING, NJ — A local animal sanctuary and rescue is hitting the big time with an upcoming appearance on "The Kelly Clarkson Show."

Funny Farm Rescue, based in Mays Landing, will appear on the NBC daytime talk show on Jan. 17, 2025, the organization shared on social media.

"We have never met a more professional and nicer group of people," Funny Farm said. "Kelly really has the best of the best team. We couldn't count the times we heard her staff say how it was the best day of their lives to meet us and the animals of the Funny Farm."

The episode will feature a beloved member of the Funny Farm family - "Adele the Diva Chicken," along with other animals from the sanctuary.

"We were treated like family. Kelly is so incredibly kind and sweet and literally has the biggest heart of anyone we have ever met," Funny Farm said. "We were so lucky and honored to meet her and spend some time with her and her entire crew."

Funny Farm was founded by Laurie Zaleski and now has more than 600 rescued animals on the Mays Landing property. In honor of Zaleski's mother, the farm will always be free for anyone to visit the animals regardless of economic status, according to the Funny Farm website.
