Speed Limit Restriction on Garden State Parkway as Snow Begins to Fall on South Jersey

The good news is, it’s the last snowfall of the season.

Snow began to fall across South Jersey once again on Friday morning, and a speed limit restriction has been put in place on the Garden State Parkway.

The speed limit has been reduced in both directions between Exit 40 at the White Horse Pike in Galloway and Exit 38 at Route 9 in Port Republic. Salting operations are taking place.

The region remains under a Winter Weather Advisory until 8 p.m. South Jersey is expecting between 1 and 3 inches of snow.

Friday is the first day of spring.
