Spicy Food Fest Coming To Atlantic City

Hot food lovers can gather at this inaugural festival.

ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — If you can't get enough of spicy foods, you won't want to miss this one. A chili cook-off and spicy food festival is coming to Atlantic City in May.

The inaugural Chili Knockout and Spicy Food Festival is devoted to all things flavor, according to their website. Local restaurants will compete and guests will judge their favorite chili. Local bars will provide drinks to cool off. There will also be local hot sauces for sale, vendors and a hot pepper eating contest with a $100 cash prize.

A $5,000 prize is available to the chili cook-off winner. $2,5000 (and a championship belt) goes to the winner, while the other $2,500 is given to the chef's charity of choice.
